Project 365, Day 354.
Today, I went at the New York Food and Wine festival.  The event was called “Art of the Taco” Hosted by Bobby Flay.
I’ve made too many jokes about me working the pastry station at St. Andy’s that it’s honestly worn out its charm, if it even has anymore.  However, I got to work with an establishment called Make My Cake Bakery and Cafe.  (http://www.makemycake.com/)
While I took my break, I went upstairs to the savory section of the event, I saw chefs such as George Mendes, Michael Psilakis and Sue Torres… and now my roommate is raving about how he ate Anne Burrell’s taco and how he’s partying up with the Food Network people.  I would be lying if I said I wasn’t jealous, but I am happy that they are getting these types of networking opportunities.
And to answer your question as to why I didn’t say for the rest of the event?
My time was up.
