Hello, everyone!  

I am Dan and this is my page.  Pictured above are two important people in my life:  My mother and Chef Soileau.  As much as I don’t like to admit it, my mother and I clash all the time, but she’s right at least 90 percent of it.  She’s the reason I’m 60 percent of who I am today.  The other 40, I had to get through experience.

Soileau on the other hand, is, as Shawn Stockman would say it, “my dude, my guy”.  I had him for Skills and the way he passionately taught it pretty much put my whole career on skyrocket:  I want to teach now, and he put a serious dent in my life by influencing me to participate in a Bachelor’s program. I just ended up here.

I moved from Manila in 2003 to California.  

I go to the Culinary Institute of America.  And yes, I’ll say it over and over again:  I’m one lucky guy.  Thank you, C-CAP.

I play tennis and a ton of videogames.  I also do photography work, only because I wanted to do the 365 Project for myself.

I also love the people I surround myself and am surrounded with.  That’s pretty much the 40 percent mentioned, away from my mother.
